Boat Launches

There are many boat ramps nearby that you can use for your river adventures. Click on a name below to find more information about each boat launch and how to get there. Regardless of what put-in/takeout combination you choose, you will need to shuttle a vehicle to your takeout. If you need a shuttle, find one here and call ahead to make your arrangements.

This is a popular spot for fishing, but also allows the convenience of a boat ramp.  You can drift fish from the parking area and to the right of the island.  Be cautious as some spots are very prone to snagging.


  • From I-5 take Exit 55  
  • Head west on Highway-199  
  • Turn left on Park Street 
  • Turn left on Parkdale Drive


If you plan on boating any sections of the Rogue River without a guide, you should have sufficient knowledge and skills to read water and navigate rapids up to a class III rapid. The rapids of note in this section are Dunn Riffle, Upper Galice, Lower Galice, Chair, Widowmaker, Alameda and Argo.
